And the finalists for this year's Nordic PR Awards are …
A lot of nominations have been submitted, and the entry has now been closed. And now we are finally here. It’s time for the announcement of the finalists for this year's Nordic PR Awards!
Nordic PR Awards is an annual competition and our way to shine a light on all the great PR and communication efforts among our customers during the previous year. It’s been, to say the least, a tough task to choose this year's heroes from all the fantastic companies that have been nominated.
Here are the finalists within our five categories: Newsroom of the year, Mastering Measurement, Purposeful PR, Most Impactful Crisis Communication and Best Innovative Communication.
Newsroom of the year
The finalists in this category have shown great skills in how to truly maximise the use of their newsroom. With consistency, they have published well-written texts, created content in a variety of formats, and shown a great usage of value-adding functions to their publications.

Mastering Measurement
The winner of this award has demonstrated tangible and measurable results from their PR and communications efforts. From improved SEO rankings to increased coverage in the media or great reach in their field. This is a company or organisation that has numbers that show they are doing a great job with their PR.
Purposeful PR
The nominated companies for this category have shown great work in how to successfully convey their community commitment and sustainability efforts through their PR and communication initiatives.
Most Impactful Crisis Management
This award goes to an organisation that has effectively managed a crisis and mitigated its impact on their brand. Through their quick and decisive response to the crisis, and by implementing a crisis communication plan and communicating openly with stakeholders, they have gained control of the situation and prevented major damage.
Best Innovative Communication
The award for best innovative communication goes to an organization that has demonstrated a high level of creativity, and the award shines a spotlight on the importance of effectively conveying messages to an important target group. This award celebrates innovative thinking, original communicative approaches, and using communication to capture the interest of the target audience.
These are the finalists within our five categories. And - this year, we are also handing out an award for “Newsroom of The Century'', since we are celebrating 20 years. One organisation will be chosen directly by the jury, for their outstanding work with their newsroom throughout the years. The winner will be announced at the Nordic PR Awards gala, together with the winners in the other categories.
So now we are all just waiting for the big day. Set the date for the 26th of October, when we will announce the winners of this year's Nordic PR Awards during this year's gala.
