Mynewsdesk launches their AI-powered assistant to all customers
Recently, Mynewsdesk – the leading PR platform – introduced a beta product that lets people create press releases and other content using generative AI. Today, they announced that they are now offering their new solution to all customers.
– We want to help our customers create great PR with impact by combining human knowledge with the power of AI. When we released our beta and saw how much those who tried it loved the new functionality, we wanted to offer it to all customers. And it’s easy to see why people love this – every single one of our customers who have tried the new functionality has gotten their press releases picked up by the media, says Louise Barnekow, CEO at Mynewsdesk.
The new functionality, which Mynewsdesk calls “AI-generated drafts”, lets people create press releases and other content in minutes, by simply typing in what the press release should be about. The new product is based on technology from Open AI. However, apart from many other solutions, Mynewsdesk has chosen to offer templates based on what topics are the most common in press releases, instead of having the user manually ask the AI to write a press release. According to Sara Manding Holm, CPO at Mynewsdesk, this will help customers free up time, and get more space to be creative and focus on other parts of their PR workflow.
– We’re seeing great potential in AI, and we want to make the technology available to our customers. So, what we have done is that we’ve built in the power of AI into the place where our customers are already working with PR. Now, they can create, publish, distribute and analyse their communication in a smarter and more efficient way than ever before, says Sara Manding Holm.
AI is everywhere in Mynewsdesk’s platform, and has been for several years now – in everything from audience targeting to distribution. AI generated drafts is a natural step in a broader initiative where Mynewsdesk aims to implement AI in all parts of the platform. It all comes down to helping people who work with communication to become even more efficient, and make a greater impact with their PR work. And there is more to come. In the long run, Mynewsdesk aims to create even more solutions powered by AI, says Louise Barnekow.
