Panasonic's Mynewsdesk newsroom is shortlisted for the Digital Impact Awards
Communicate Magazine has announced that Panasonic's UK newsroom, powered by Mynewsdesk, has been shortlisted in the “Best Use of Digital to aid Media Relations” category at the Digital Impact Awards.
The awards - run by Communicate magazine - are a celebration of the best digital communications and reward companies who approach digital platforms in an innovative way.
Panasonic launched their Mynewsdesk online newsroom in 2013 as part of the Panasonic UK website relaunch and has seen visitor numbers steadily grow over the past 12 months.
Their newsroom is a multimedia hub from which journalists, bloggers and stakeholders can easily access the latest news, blogs, images, info-graphics and videos to create stories.
Viewing, downloading and sharing content is simple, the newsroom’s responsive design allows for a slick mobile and tablet user experience. It acts as a content hub, feeding real-time updates from their Twitter and Facebook pages; their company stories and social projects, product launches and live events - in to one engaging and interactive space.
The judges – made up of leading digital communicators and experts – will announce the winners on October 21st at a ceremony in London. Other companies shortlisted in the category include Adidas and Centrica.
