Mynewsdesk proudly presents... The new Image Handler
A picture is worth a thousand words.
We all know the power of images. Here at Mynewsdesk we often encourage you, our customers, to make your stories come alive by using a lot of images. To further help you stay on top of your game, Mynewsdesk has now made it even easier for you to handle them. For the creation of those captivating stories, a faster, and more fluent Image Handling is now a reality!
In the new Image Handler you’ll be able to:
- Upload a batch of images at the same time
- Use the filename as a header (if you want to)
- Import images from your other newsrooms
- Name and edit various images in one batch
- Easily unpublish images
- Delete various images with only a few clicks
- Add caption to web images
How will I be able to access this new feature? Try out the Image Handler by going to the Images section in Publish. Click on the tab to switch to the new feature. The Image Handler will firstly be released to all our customers who have one newsroom, and in a few weeks to those who have two or more. There is also an option to go back to the current image handling for those who aren’t ready to take the plunge just yet, but only want to dip their toes in the new world of easy image handling.
But this is just the first version. The Mynewsdesk development team will continue developing the image handling, with further additions. We really want to ensure that you get the most out of this feature. That’s why we’re building the new Image Handler step-by-step and we’re asking you for input and feedback along the way.
We hope you enjoy the new feature!
