Nordic PR Awards 2022: Defining moments in our jury members’ careers
What has been a key event or turning point in your career? Answering this question might bring up nostalgic memories, evoke feelings of pride and self-respect, or act as a career guiding star. The jury members of this year’s Nordic PR Awards all have fascinating stories behind their careers - what were some of the defining moments that led them to their current positions?
When asking the question to our jury members of this year's Nordic PR Awards, some of the answers we received were:

Ingveig, tell us about a key event or turning point in your career.
There are many, but leaving a permanent job at NRK was perhaps the biggest turning point, and realizing that fear will take you nowhere. I strive to be fearless as well as brave and kind. I also stay open to new learnings and every day I am grateful for new lessons and insights.
Hanna, tell us about a key event or turning point in your career.
I was originally an actress but didn’t want to work when everybody else had time off. At the time I had small children, so I decided to start working with communications in a different way.
Alexander, tell us about a key event or turning point in your career.
I started working at Nykredit Mægler as an intern while finishing my master's degree and since then I have been given a lot of trust and support from colleagues and superiors. This boosted my career at Nykredit Mægler where I have gone from being a communication consultant to a media relations officer within a few years.
David, tell us about a key event or turning point in your career.
In addition to leaving journalism to start working in PR, I would say being a part of Kia Sweden’s brand journey; from a small challenger to being one of the top three car brands in Sweden. And of course the opportunity to be involved in designing and sharpening our communication as a key part of that development together with my extremely creative colleagues.
