And the jury members for this year’s Nordic PR Awards are …
Drumroll please…
Mynewsdesk is happy to introduce the five jury members for this year's Nordic PR Awards. Each of the hand-picked members is an expert within their field, resulting in a “jury powerhouse'' packed with PR, communications, data intelligence and sustainability expertise. Introducing our jury members:
Ingveig Tveranger
Ingveig Tverenger is a Norwegian PR and communications expert with a strong background across the industry. She is a journalist by training and spent 15 years in TV and radio broadcasting for NRK, the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, before becoming an independent communications advisor.
Ingveig helps brands who are looking to grow through effective and creative communication and is also a well-respected advisor within crisis communication and executive media training. Ingveig’s broad perspective on communication and brands makes her a valued member of our Nordic PR Awards jury.
Hanna Brogren
Hanna Brogren is the Director of Communications for the Region of Stockholm, a responsibility she was trusted with after a long career within PR and communications. During Hanna’s 25 years in the industry, she has held several “three word-titles”, with the most recent one as CEO of the Swedish Communication Association.
Mynewsdesk has had the pleasure of working with Hanna before as one of the experts in the Nordic PR industry report, State of Nordic PR & Communication, released by Mynewsdesk in January 2022. Hanna is a great source of valuable insights on trends, challenges, and opportunities within the PR & communication industry and we are happy to have her as part of our jury.
Alexander Falck Winther
Alexander Falck Winther is the Pressofficer at Danish Nybolig and is responsible for the company’s external communications, as well as press and media relations. Alexander is a true ‘Renaissance man’ within PR having experienced the ins and outs of the industry over many years. Not only is he a highly skilled and experienced strategic communications advisor, Alexander is also a journalist, which adds an interesting and important perspective to the jury’s areas of expertise. Glad to have you with us Alexander.
David Lilja
David Lilja is the PR and Communications Officer for Korean carmaker ‘Kia’ in Sweden and has first-hand knowledge of how to create and maintain a highly successful Newsroom using Mynewsdesk. David offers valuable insights both from the distribution and receiving end of PR work and most importantly on how to talk to the media and journalists.
The fact that David works in the automotive industry, an industry that is often scrutinised from an environmental point of view, makes for a highly relevant perspective when discussing purposeful PR and sustainable communication as part of the awards.
Daniel Jonsson
Mynewsdesk’s very own Chief Analytics and Strategy Officer, or as we sometimes refer to him: The Batman of data intelligence.
Daniel is not only a brilliant mind and a well versed strategic authority at Mynewsdesk but he also offers a unique insight into how to work smarter by making use of data intelligence in today’s PR and communications landscape. Having Daniel as part of our jury is absolutely crucial in order to provide a ‘measured’ view (no pun intended) on the results and impact achieved for our nominees in the category Mastering Measurement.
Don’t wait- Nominate
As you can probably tell, all nominees will be in excellent hands by a jury made up of some of the sharpest minds in the industry.
So make sure to nominate a Mynewsdesk customer (there is no shame in nominating yourself) who has done an exceptional job with their PR and communications efforts in the past year.
Entries close on the 7/3, and all we can say is go, go, go!
