Mynewsdesk expands the management team

Mynewsdesk's current Marketing Director Lotta Laurin is appointed Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), meaning that she will join the company's management team. At the same time, Mattias Nygren steps in as the company's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

- We are about to expand into new markets and these recruitments will be invaluable for our growth journey, says Mynewsdesk CEO Louise Barnekow.

With a three-year plan involving growth focus and expansion into new markets, Mynewsdesk is making two strategic recruitments. The current Marketing Director, Lotta Laurin, is appointed as the new CMO, and Mattias Nygren, currently CFO at Paynova, joins as CFO.

- These are two roles that are incredibly central to the growth journey we are facing. The management team is now complete and I'm really looking forward to accelerating our expansion and entering new markets, says Louise Barnekow, CEO of Mynewsdesk.

Growth journey ahead

Mattias Nygren has been at Paynova since 2016 as a part of the company's management team. Previously he worked at Hudson, Ingram Micro, and Mekonomen, among others.

Lotta Laurin will start her new role on 1 December and Mattias Nygren will join in January.
