Mynewsdesk unveils its new look newsroom, making visual and multimedia content instantly accessible via any device
Based on feedback from journalists, customers and industry experts, Mynewsdesk has revamped its newsroom design so that brands can make full use of compelling images and multimedia to communicate with journalists and other stakeholder groups on any device.
The responsive newsroom design will render perfectly on any mobile device so that brands can deliver a seamless experience for audiences on the move.
Using research carried out earlier this year on how the top 100 global brands are using newsrooms, the new design lets brands tell their stories as clearly and consistently as possible, balancing the right level of content on the main page with striking images and video.
“Our new design reflects the growing importance of multimedia content in the storytelling process,” said Peter Ingman, CEO at Mynewsdesk. “With so many brands becoming publishers of their own content, it’s essential that it’s displayed on an engaging page that really captures the attention – whether that’s of the media or their customers. This all forms part of the move to the 'brand newsroom' something discussed in more detail here.
“We also recognised that more and more web browsing and work is taking place on the move, and there’s little more annoying for a journalist than trying to find out about a company on a website 100 times the size of their iPhone screen. The new design is responsive and adapts to fit whatever device you’re using and even how you’re holding that device. We’re really proud of our new design and can’t wait to see how our customers use it to tell their stories.”
