About our guest speakers
Christina Anderson, freelance journalist and writer, New York Times
Christina Anderson moved back to Stockholm from New York City in 2004. She is a freelance journalist and writer, reporting on Scandic news for the New York Times. She has worked for a diverse range of clients, from reporting for channels such as Dow Jones Newswires and Radio Sweden to working as a press officer at the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and strategist and writer for various content agencies. In 2008, Christina wrote Sweden’s first human rights report for the UN’s Universal Periodic Review. She holds a Masters’ degrees in Journalism and International Affairs from Columbia University. Christina is a native of the United States. She grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, but she has lived in Sweden on and off for 30 years.
Johanna Snickars, Communications Lead Sweden, Microsoft
Johanna Snickars leads the communications department for Microsoft Sweden. Her responsibilities include internal and external communications, citizenship, PR, branding, crisis communication, corporate communications, social media management, media and influencer relations. Johanna has worked within PR and communications for nine years, both at PR agencies and as a PR manager for companies in banking and insurance. She is a frequent guest speaker and blogs primarily about her passion for digital PR.
